Can Double Jaw Surgery and V-Line Surgery be performed together?

Yes. It is possible. Double jaw surgery is performed to improve jaw functional abnormalities or asymmetry (top/bottom, left/right), while V-line surgery is performed to resect wide or protruding parts of the lower face for an overall slim facial line. Therefore, if necessary, combining double jaw surgery and V-line surgery (facial contouring) can provide more effective results.

What is the biggest difference between V-Line Surgery and Mini V-Line Surgery?

V-line surgery refers to performing square jaw surgery and chin tip surgery together, and the biggest difference is whether the chin tip is osteotomized. In general V-line surgery, the chin tip is performed with a inverted-V osteotomy or T-osteotomy, but mini V-line surgery is performed by grinding the area around the chin tip or performing a very slight osteotomy without cutting the main chin tip. The chin design can be expressed in various ways depending on the face shape the patient desires, and a surgical plan can be established based on accurate consultation and facial analysis with the medical staff.
