If you're happy with the way things are, this surgery is not needed. However, in some cases, the incorrect angle of the teeth makes it challenging to bite down with the front teeth, and if the lack of cleanliness lead to periodontal disease, or if your lips are not closing properly and is prone to dryness, we may recommend mouth protrusion surgery.

Precautions Before and After Surgery

·You should fast for at least 8 hours the day before surgery.
·We recommend sleeping in an upright position as much as possible.
·Avoid foods that are too hard or chewy for about a month.
·Apply cold compresses immediately after surgery and warm compresses after 5 days.
